Estrella Samba-Campos
Doctor in Arab Studies, researcher, and lecturer at UCM
Estrella Samba-Campos holds a PhD in Arab Studies from the University of St Andrews in Scotland and obtained doctoral equivalence in the Spanish system from the University of Salamanca. She is currently a technical postdoctoral researcher at the CLARIAH Node of the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. Previously, she was a Margarita Salas postdoctoral researcher at the same university. She is the director of the Sound-Text Archive of Muslim Women in West Africa, which has been collecting audible narratives from Muslim women from various countries in West Africa and their diaspora since 2022.
